2002 Degree in Medicine (mark 110/110), University of Catania.
2006 Postgraduate School in Radiation Oncology (mark 70/70 cum laude), University of Siena.
During postgraduation years, he gained skills in oncological radiation treatments, particularly in stereotactic treatments and radiosurgery.
He has worked at Humanitas Catania since 2007.
He has taken part in several highly qualifying international courses and clinical trials.The experience come up with the use of PET and MRI imaging has given him the remarkable expertise in radiation treatments and particularly in central nervous system tumors, lung tumors, prostate cancer, rectum, and anus cancer. At the same time he has implemented and carried out high-complex and latest generation radiotherapy, such as Radiosurgery and sterotactic treatments.
For several years now, he has taken part in multidisciplinar oncological groups (lung cancer and gastrointestinal tumors).
2021 second-level Professional Master's Programme in "Radiotherapy and drugs: biology and clinical application" (mark 110/110 cum laude).
